By placing an order with STEAM Museum of the Great Western Railway, you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
STEAM – Museum of the Great Western Railway operates a policy of no refunds or exchanges for tickets booked online. Tickets may not be transferred or resold.
Discounts and other promotions cannot be used when booking online unless otherwise specified; they will also not be retrospectively accepted when presented at the ticket desk on the day of your visit.
Tickets may be restricted to a maximum number per person.
Standard Museum Day admission tickets are not valid for special event days.
Event tickets and Special Events are date specific and must be used on dates specified.
Event specific information will be displayed on the website prior to booking. A confirmation email will be sent after checkout.
Special Events and Event Tickets are subject to the standard terms and conditions as well as the additional conditions above.

Possession of the booking confirmation will be regarded as proof of purchase and will entitle you to the relevant number and type of tickets purchased.
Tickets to STEAM will be emailed to you. Please take care to provide a current, valid email address and be aware that your email filter settings may treat our emails as spam or direct them to your junk folder.
It is your responsibility to contact us 48 hours prior to your visit if you do not receive email confirmation. In the event of this, please 01793 466626 or steammuseum@swindon.gov.uk.
Please note: tickets will not be posted.
Senior Citizen rates apply to visitors 65 years plus. Proof of age may be required.
Children under 16 must be accompanied and closely supervised by an adult at all times. Proof of age may be required.
If Student Tickets are purchased, valid Student ID is required at time of entry to STEAM.
Note that animals are not allowed in STEAM (except assistance dogs).
Carers go free on production of a valid Carers Card. Please add the carers ticket option, you may need to produce this when entering STEAM.
STEAM reserves the right to refuse admission to any ticket holder and or ask ticket holders at any time to leave. STEAM may conduct security searches on entry.
STEAM reserves the right to close or restrict parts or all of the attractions at any time.
You are advised to check last entry time, as indicated on the STEAM website. Ticket holders may not be admitted after this time.
Visitors are NOT permitted to bring large shopping bags, rucksacks or travel luggage into the Museum. All bags may be inspected by STEAM staff. Baby buggies and bags containing necessary medical equipment, or for use in nursing and baby care will be permitted, subject to the owners agreeing that these items may be searched. STEAM regrets that the Museum does not have storage for bags or coats.
STEAM welcomes filming and photography at its site for private non-commercial purposes. If you wish to film or take photographs at STEAM for non-private and/or commercial purposes, then please contact us at steammuseum@swindon.gov.uk
Third party photography and filming of school children on organised school visits is not permitted in the Museum.

Day Tickets booked online are valid for the date selected at the time of booking.
