Friends of Swindon Railway Museum – 2022 Lecture Programme
Chris Wilkinson – Railways in Worcestershire 1910-1970
21 March at 19:00pm
Chris started his working life as an engine cleaner at Worcester engine sheds (85a) in the 1960’s. His career moved on but his love of railways remains. Currently he is Meetings Organiser for the Worcester Locomotive Society. Chris has a fine collection of films and photographs to share and talk about, mainly from the 1950s to the 1970s but with some from 1928 and a few glass plate images from 1910 showing Malvern.
Both Members and non-Members are welcome to attend the talk.
A small, voluntary donation to the Friends of Swindon Railway Museum would be appreciated.
